The Glory of It All

Thanks to Chris, I found out that my Tamalpais Hats were the Pattern of the Day at The Daily Knitter on Saturday. Apparently the Santa Cruz Hat was also once the pattern of the day, but this slipped by me completely.

Katy of These Are the Knits I Know alerted me to the fact that the Santa Cruz Hat had gotten a mention recently on Stash and Burn.

On the one hand, you’d think I’d be better at spotting these things myself, given the amount of time I spend knit-surfing on the web. On the other hand, I’m just all wrapped up in my own little Sally-Fields-“you-like-me-you-really-like-me” moment and feeling chuffed as all get-out.

And I got this great idea for a scarf last night. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it elsewhere…

  1. I laughed out loud at the auto blocking – love the gorgeous star like shawls! And kudos for the Tamalpias hats having their day – bask in the glory for a bit and pour yourself a beer. Can’t wait to see your scarf idea – I’m working on one too – with a ruffle! (so not me, but it’s in my head and won’t get out….)
