Melissa and I have just finished doing the prize draw for the Blogiversary Raffle for the Animals.
And now—drum roll, please—the winners are:

I will be emailing the winners to make shipping arrangements. Meanwhile, thank you to every who contributed to this raffle. I am touched, encouraged, and delighted by your generosity. Our final total was $883, with which the great groups who received the money will be able to do all sorts of wonderful things.
I’m happy as a clam right now. Especially since I’ve been sitting her with a runny nose and a head cold all day :o( Thank you soooooo much!!!! And Copper, our newest addition is just happy as can be and fits right in with the whole family. thank you for doing this, it is such a good cause!!!!

Almost a thousand dollars for those who can’t help themselves is a great thing.
As a scientist, I am curious about the odds of this contest. At $868 and one entry for $2 there should have been 434 slips in the bowl, with some extras for posting on websites, etc. Does this add upto about 1 prize in 45-50 slips? In any case it is for a great cause (or causes).
