If you, like me, go on binges of dishcloth knitting when all other knitting seems too complicated or too slow to produce results, you may want to sign up for the Yahoo Dishcloth of the Week Group. Every week a new pattern, with a real effort by the hostess to include new techniques and stitches that will help you build your knitting skills. I will confess that I haven’t actually been completing each week’s dishcloth as it’s published, but I am collecting the patterns I like and filing them away for later in the academic quarter when only dishcloths will do.
I’m off now to buy cat treats and perhaps Feliway. Then it’s home, home, home to send out my best calming, zen-type vibes and convince the expanded kitty family that we can all just get along.
