If you haven’t guessed, that’s one of the nicknames I’ve bestowed on Penny during her time chez moi.
We’ve had our ups and downs with the whole integrating-a-new-cat thing, but Penny knows she’s found a home and is settling in nicely bewteen spats with the step-sibs.
For her first week or two, she specialized in extra-high perches, like the windows that run along the top of one wall in my kitchen.
(Please ignore the need for paint/caulking and focus on the lovely cat instead.)
She has been delighted with the cuisine.
Now that she’s settled in, she’s chosen a favorite perch on top of two Rubbermaid tubs full of quilting fabric.
She has not completely grasped the bed-must-be-available-to-all-cats concept, so I do wind up moving her to the bathroom sometimes in the middle of the night, but we’re making progress.
I am glad that she is settling in. She is quite the good looking gal, isn’t she?
Jo
She’s a beautiful little cat. It looks like she will be settling in very well soon. She’s found herself in a loverly cat loving home and is a very lucky girl, indeed.
Did you know that Michael’s is carrying their Paton’s SWS for $4.50 a skein this week? I found your site after googling ‘Patons yarn reviews’.
I find looking at Penny eerie, because she looks like someone merged pictures of my cat’s mother and father to make one cat. The stripes, the colors… what a beautiful cat!
